Roger d'Eschambault - B.Comm.

Founder and Chairman

Roger is a Franco-Manitoban by birth, moving to Quebec after being awarded a business degree with honors from U of Manitoba.He started his career in the employee benefits  industry in 1986 and after relocating to Montreal, joined London Life Insurance Co as group representative. He held various sales and management positions with the company in Québec from 1988 to 1997. He was awarded the designation of Chartered Life Underwriter from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Life Underwriters and Chartered Financial Consultants in 1997 and the designation of Financial Planner from the Institut Québécois de Planification Financière in 1998. Roger founded dElta Benefits in 1998, and dElta Human Resources in 2005. The firm is is now part of Hub International, since 2018, and continues gaining momentum selling and servicing employee group insurance and retirement plans for employers across Canada.

Much like his father and grandfather in St Boniface Manitoba, Roger has ensured that supporting the communities we live in stays a priority.  He is currently VP of Ducks Unlimited Canada board, and has sponsored dozens of charities through his company’s annual employee assisted fundraising events..

Roger, who is passionate about history, the outdoors and exploration, has solo canoed several times across the high arctic and the Yukon as well as having reached the South Pole on January 12, 2015 during an expedition of several weeks in the Antarctic Region, where he raised the flag of a foundation helping children and families with autism.

He has been married to Renee Lou Lovell for over 25 years and has 3 children.

Edith Painchaud

Chief Operations Officer

Édith has almost 20 years of experience in Group Insurance and holds a license as a Group Insurance Plan Consultant. After more than 8 years as an assistant to the advisors of the Great West Life Marketing Division, she joined the team of dElta Benefits in 2005 as an Account Executive. After 4 years, through her attention to details and her desire to provide excellent client services, she moved to a position of Key Account Executive. She then had to ensure services for major clients. Throughout the years, she has accompanied advisors when visiting clients and has been involved in the New Employees’ Training Plan. She is also head of compliance for the firm. In 2011, Édith was promoted to the position of Manager, Client Services. Her team now includes a dozen employees based in two separate locations. In the same year, she received the M3i‑Supervision Certification, an intensive staff management training program, in addition to an ACF Management Certification. Her actions help employers and administrators better understand their group plans.


Stéfanie Moreau - FSA, FCIA

Leader actuarial services - Group insurance

Stéfanie holds a BA in Actuarial Sciences from Université du Québec à Montréal (2005) and is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and Society of Actuaries (group and health). She first worked at Industrielle Alliance within the actuarial team for over 10 years, and then at Normandin Beaudry in actuarial consulting. She joined the dElta Benefits team in September 2016 as Leader actuarial services – group insurance. Her role consists in supporting the advisors and account managers with respect to the analysis and negotiation of benefit plan renewals, the design and funding of plans as well as the choice of service providers. She is responsible for developing innovative strategies and customized solutions which ensure the optimal use of dollars invested in group insurance.

Denis St-François - AVA

Manager of the Cowansville Office, and Group Insurance & Group Annuity Plans Advisor​

Denis completed a UQAM Financial Planning Certificate in 2002 and received the designation of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) from the Chambre de la sécurité financière in 2004. The Institut québécois de planification financière awarded him a Financial Planner degree in 2004. Denis also held the position of Director of the Lac Brome Board of Trade for 2 years. He joined the Tanner Assurances team in 1990 and the Groupe Financier Tanner-Deland Inc. in 1999. Denis has been managing the dElta‑Tanner’s office in Cowansville since the acquisition of Tanner‑Deland by dElta in December 2012 and has more than 25 years of experience in the area.

Chantal Larochelle

Group Insurance and Group Annuity Advisor

Chantal started in the group insurance industry in 1987 with London Life to develop the Group Insurance Administration Division in Montreal. She then held the position of Sales and Service Representative within the Group Insurance Team in 1989 and the position of Sales Representative, Retirement Plans, in 1996. She joined the dElta Benefits team in 1999. Chantal provides clients with innovative solutions to maximize the value of dollars dedicated to benefits so they become an investment.

Joanne Déziel - RLU

Group Insurance and Group Annuity Advisor

With many years of experience in the benefits area, Joanne joined the dElta Benefits team in 2007 as an Insurance and Group Annuity Advisor. Formerly an Account Executive for one of Canada’s largest national insurers, where she accumulated a record of successes and a well-established reputation in the industry, she then decided to extend her skills to her own client base. She is a much-appreciated resource within our team and a seasoned and thorough advisor with her clients.

Jean-François Côté

Group Insurance Plans Advisor

Jean-François started his career in 1999 with the Standard Life of Canada Insurance Company. He had just completed his International Management BA with UQAM’s Management Science School. He initially held several management positions from 2000 to 2005 as a Management Associate with a national group insurance team.

In 2005, Jean-François joined the Group Insurance Underwriting team with Standard Life where he held the positions of Consultant and Senior Consultant; he could further his journey with his mathematical and project management skills and the management of a team responsible for the entire Canadian Eastern and Western areas.

From 2009 to 2013, he held the position of Manager, Business Development, with the Group Insurance Office at the Standard Life Headquarters. His responsibilities were to establish business relationships to provide clients with outstanding service. Jean‑François eventually joined the dElta Benefits team in 2013 as a Group Insurance Plans Advisor. His dedication to people and his work, industry understanding and creativity helped him to already reach unparalleled results with our clients.


Jean-François Charlebois - MBA, GBA

Group Insurance and Group Annuity Plans Advisor

Jean-François holds a BA in Business Administration with honours and a Master in Business Management – Finance from Laval University. He started his career in the group insurance business in 2003 with Great West Life and joined the dElta Benefits team in 2011 as a Group Insurance and Group Annuity Plans Advisor. In addition to his strong financial background, he specializes in the creation and management of personalized building block plans, health accounts and retirement plans.


Guillaume Fortier

Group Insurance and Group Annuity Plans Advisor

Guillaume started his career in 2003 with Manulife Financial. From 2005 to 2016, he worked as group insurance account associate within the Manulife sales team. He also took a human resources management course at McGill University. Guillaume joined the dElta Benefits team in 2016 as an advisor in group insurance and group-annuity plans. His analytical mind and attention to detail help him understand his clients’ needs. He also has a good knowledge of computer systems and is dedicated to client service.


Annie Doire

Group Insurance and Group Annuity Plans Advisor

Annie began her group insurance career in 1996 with Medavie Blue Cross. She then held the position of Partner, Advisor in Group Insurance and Group Annuity Plans in a Quebec City firm. Her responsibilities were mainly business development, hiring and training of administrative staff.

Annie has been dynamic and passionate about the field for more than 20 years. She provides a quality service, based on respect and a relationship of mutual trust. She has been with dElta since 2018 and works in the Quebec City office.
